Hi,

somehow I can't get the current Debain 3.1 snapshot to load on Hercules.

Starting Hercules 3.01 (the Hercules from Sarge doesn't behave any
different), I get:

[...]

Any ideas?

Hi,
Post by Matthias Urlichs
Thanks! That did it.
... until networking raised its ugly head.

My config says:

0A00 3088 CTCI /dev/net/tun 2000 192.109.102.44 192.109.102.34 255.255.255.255
0A01 3088 CTCI /dev/net/tun 2000 192.109.102.44 192.109.102.34 255.255.255.255

I answered the setup questions with the numbers appropriate for:
ctc 0a00-0a01 linux ctc0

... but now the emulator is sitting there, ostensibly waiting for a SSH
connection. Unfortunately it's not even pingable.

"ifconfig tun0" looks sane. In fact, the same setup works quite well for
my old woody DASD image. Unfortunately, said image got fried recently. :-/
