(too old to reply)

Package: s390-tools
Version: 1.8.3-1
Severity: serious

zipl can no longer rely on explicit support from kernel packages or
initramfs-tools, and must install hook scripts. The policy for these
is documented in:

http://kernel-handbook.alioth.debian.org/ch-update-hooks.html

Ben.
